Ain't nothing but a hound dog

Hound dogs are the oldest type of dog to be used for hunting, but nowadays they are becoming more popular for domestic pets rather than hunting foxes or ratting.

Hound dogs are very strong minded, they can be trained brilliantly, however if they do not see the point in performing a demand, they wont!
Most of these hound dog breeds will be best to walk on a lead in busy areas/parks due to their nature of wondering of, sniffing out animals/objects and seeing fast things moving; have them well trained on a lead though because as soon as they see something they will sure pull your arm out of its socket to get there.
