Bacon 'Bark' Chew Strips

Bacon “Bark” Sticks
This recipe makes around 24 chew sticks

Ingredients:

-1 egg
-1 ¼ cups goat’s milk (dairy milk is okay as well)
-1 tablespoon honey
-2 tablespoons bacon fat
-¼ cup bacon, crumbled
-2 3/4 cups Oat Flour


           


           Directions:
  •  Preheat oven to 350°F.
  •  In a large bowl whisk together the egg, milk, honey, bacon fat, and bacon.
  •  Stir the flour in, ½ cup at a time until full incorporated.
  •  Knead the dough until fully combined.
  •  Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface into a 4” by 12” rectangle.
  •  Using a pizza cutter, cut out 4” by ½” sticks until all the dough has been used.
  •  Line the sticks on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  •  Cool completely before serving.
  •  Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Can be kept for up to a week.
