Over the past few months i have collectively downaloaded and used apps associated towards dogs and dog training and there are a lot out there.
All i did was search 'dog' into the app store and hundreds of free apps appeared.
I'm going to share my favourites and what i have found to be most useful when working and living alongside dogs.
#1 Dog Teaser;
This app is brilliant to use alongside training your dog, it provides many useful sounds that can assist with diagnosing certain dog behaviours, such as barking and reacting to certain noises.
This app also gives you a choice of different frequency noises, which is great when training your dog.
#2 Dogs of the World;
This app is amazing for all information surrounding specific breeds of dogs.
For example if you own a cocker spaniel, you simply search the breed and click on the image of the dog and all sorts of detailed information and facts appear, such as, typical behaviours, general appearance and age expectancy.
This app, personally, i have found to be great when working with dogs, as before i go and visit the dog i can read up about that specific breed ands it's expected behaviours.
#3 Dog Health
This app is super useful!
When first opening the app you will have to provide basic information about your dog(s) e.g. Age, sex, breed and weight and when done a sort of social media page for your dog appears, in which you can upload a photo, keep track of vaccinations/appointments, track weight and it even uses your location to show you all and any local veterinary surgeries.
#4 Dog training/Clicker training (hanoo)
Out of many, this app provides great basic training techniques and tips that are easy to follow; to further the training, this company also provide another app alongside this one, in which it provides similar basic training but with a clicker.
