Dog sitters/walkers:

I have just started working for a dog sitting/walking company temporarily, to get working with dogs again and to broaden my horizons.
If you are thinking about employing or hiring a dog walker/sitter, here's a couple of things to think about and check first:

Renowned:
Is the company/person renowed for what they do? Meaning, are they a good well known company that you can check through testomonials and references.
Have they got a website or some form of social media you can research them on.

Trustworthy/Reliable:
Is the company/person trustworthy? If you are going to be letting this person into your home (whether you are there or not) can you trust them with your home and your dog. Perhaps check if they hold a CRB so you can check their criminal background.

Rates:
How much are they charging and is it feesable; is it going to be worth shedding out lots of money for your dogs to be walked/looked after for you. Have a look around a gage some knowledge on going rates in your area.

With all this said if and when you do find the right dog walker/sitter for yourself it is a brilliant way for you and your dog to have more freedom; however if you are struggling to look after your dog within your time frame reference my previous post Here to consider options about owning a dog.
