Smart Tails

Dogs are very intelligent, this, i think, they hide sometimes so they can be lazy and sleep on the sofa all day instead of out working, which is what they would be doing if only they showed their talents more often.

Here's a couple of stories as proof;

# A lady was driving around doing some errands alongside her dog Max, an 11 year old Lab, when reaching home Max was asleep in the back of the car, making the owner forget he was in there.
It was a hot day and the owner was in the house pottering around putting shopping away etc when she hears a honk of the car horn, she runs out to see what it was and couldnt see anything, so returns inside her home, again the horn is honked and she goes out to her car then seeing Max on the front seat. Immediately she gets him out of the car and into the house to cool him down with lightly wet towls and water, then ringing the vet to make sure he's ok.
Max had very cleverly brought attention to himself by not using any un-necassery energy, as he would have with barking.

# Charlie the Beagle helps his owner change the babies nappy;

#  Jack, a whippet-terrier cross was seperated from it's owners after deciding to chase after rabbits in the woods and the becoming lost on the Sunday.
The owners searched for hours until having no choice but to go home, then putting up lost posters and alerting neighbours and friends to help them look for Jack.
On the Monday night, after the owners were giving up and thinking Jack was lost forever, the owner looked out the back into the garden, only to see Jack sitting on the back doorstep waiting to be let in.
Jack had ran 15 miles back to his home, crossing four major roads, including the M1!
No name or address of his home was on Jack, he did it all by himself, or had a sat nav on him...

# Lets face it, if dogs showed all their talents they'd all be like this little Jack Russell Jesse...
